Meet the Founder
Hi, I'm Margo
I didn't set out to start a movie-night company. I set out to get off the couch.
Last November, an injury ended my science career. Two decades of labs and microscopes, done in an afternoon. I spent the six months that followed more or less horizontal, and the one thing that kept me good company through all of it was the thing I've loved my whole life: movies.
Here's what you should know about me, though - I've never just "put something on." I'm the one who turns a Sunday night into an event. Themed food, the right drink, the candle lit, the daft little rituals that make everyone put their phones down and actually arrive. My family have been my willing test audience for years, and other people always wanted in on it.
So somewhere around month four on that couch, it clicked: the thing I'd been doing for fun, for the people I love, could be my whole next chapter.
That's FOMO MOFO. Movie-night experiences in a box, each one built to turn an ordinary night at home into the best seat in the house, because you are not missing out by staying in. Done properly, this is the thing everyone else wishes they were doing.
Every box is made by hand, by me, on the Mid North Coast, the very stretch of coast where a young Baz Luhrmann first fell for the movies, as it happens. No warehouse, no factory. Just me, at my table, packing each one like I'm setting up the night for a friend. Because, really, I am.
Pull the curtains. Turn the sound up. Step in, and stay in.
